Support Jesus the Good Shepherd’s Historic OCIA Class!
Our OCIA ministry is blessed to have 61 candidates and catechumens participating this year—the largest class in JGS history! Notably, 51 of our participants were born in the 1990s or later, reflecting a vibrant young generation full of interest and enthusiasm for the Church.
With a record-breaking class, our ministry needs for materials, dinners, and hospitality have grown. We are immensely grateful to the parishioners who have already generously sponsored our Tuesday evening meals.
If you would like to support our growing class, here is how you can help:
- Donate Cases of Small Water Bottles: Drop off individual-sized water bottles at the parish office.
- Sponsor a Tuesday Dinner: Help us share a meal with our candidates before class by offering a donation or providing a home-cooked or catered meal. We usually serve for 60, but partial donations are more than welcome.
- Provide a bible and catechism: We provide these free for all participants. The total cost for both is $20.
- Sponsor an Advent wreath for an OCIA family: The cost of each kit runs $20.
