Come and See: An Evening for the Searching and Curious
People today are increasingly intrigued not only by Catholicism itself, but also by seeing intelligent and thoughtful young adults taking the Catholic faith seriously and intentionally.
Join Fr. Peter Mangum and Dr. Cheryl White, Wednesday June 3rd from 6:00 – 7:30pm at Jesus the Good Shepherd Church for an enjoyable and engaging evening of conversation, questions, and reflection – informal in atmosphere, yet thoughtful and substantial in content.
Possible topics may include: Miracles, saints, and relics (the latest research on the Shroud of Turin, our Shreveport Servants of God, Medjugorje), the intersection of science and faith, artificial intelligence and technology, historical foundations of the Catholic faith, and any of the deeper questions people carry about meaning, truth, purpose, suffering and hope.
Whether you are deeply committed, skeptical, searching, returning to the faith, or simply curious, you are welcome!
